ability to create Custom Plugins/nodes for 3rd party intergration

given how the latest version of Wrap is node based, and how I don’t see WrapX available on the website anymore, is it possible to have the ability to write custom scripts/plugins for Wrap3? i’d figure with it being node based it would be easy to make a custom node that takes native nodes as input and feeds its output to other nodes.

what was awesome about WrapX was how you could write your own python scripts for your specific pipeline doing what you need it to but with it off the market now the users need to find cumbersome workarounds like importing and exporting the individual elements one by one.
we could ask you guys to make whatever tool we may want but you are already busy working on the main Wrap app.

other 3d apps like Maya, ZBrush, Houdini, blender, and even photoshop have 3rd party plugins that can do niche things customers want but aren’t needed in the main app so maybe Wrap can allow this too and let other companies make plugins for Wrap.

technically WrapX had a plugin for Marvelous Designer that let you wrap their base model to scans so you can get a custom avatar matched directly to your measurements. and i think I saw several topics about wrapping DAZ3d figures to scans and high poly sculpts with the main issue being the figures being made up of multiple meshes, a problem that the MD script seemed to solve.

I personally would love a GoZ plugin for Zbrush and a plugin for Daz3D since I can see their integration be the perfect Digital Human pipeline:

ZBrush can export polygroups as selection sets so you can mask off things like mouth bags and eyesockets in ZBrush. I can even see a way to make polycurves or polygroups in ZBrush be “islands” of Wrap3 points so you can paint the target in ZBrush and have it conform in Wrap.

Daz3D has its own robust genesis 1/2/3/8 models designed for morphing as well as several resource kits and existing shapes that they can match to the 3D scan automatically so you got more control over the final shape. I can also see a way to export specific wraps as Daz3D morphs so you can build a library of say FACS shapes and muscle flexes and the like letting you build a complete package you can easily hand off to the rigging department.

i bet there are other plugins for other things too people may want.

could these python scripts be loaded as unique nodes though? that’s what i was getting at. have companies make their own plugin nodes so you dont need to write your own. basically the sweet spot of being too specialty to be in the main app but needed enough to purchase it premade.

like i want Zbrush to do a GoZ for wrap.
